Microsoft Word 2000 Microsoft Word 2000 is a powerful word processing application containing simple-to-use features, which allow you to create, update and print documents such as: • letters • menus • flyers and much more To Open Microsoft Word 2000 2 • Click the Start button at the lower right hand side of the window.

Printing Your Document • To print your document click on the Print icon on the toolbar. Save a Document • Click the Save icon on the menu bar. • Or Select Save from the File Menu. • In the Save In: box select the 3½ Floppy (A:) to save your document to disk.
Closing a Word Document • Select Close from the File menu. • A pop up box will ask you if you would like to save the changes you made to the Publication. • Click the Yes button. Exiting Microsoft Word • To exit from the Word programme. • Select Exit from the File menu.
