Insert Metra’ s 86-9001 into the slots in the factor y head unit and pull the unit out. (Figure A) Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.
2 99-9107B KIT ASSEMBL Y Snap the pocket into the Radio Housing until secure . (Figure C) 5 Snap the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 1 Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage and secure .
3 99-9107B KIT ASSEMBL Y Slide the head unit into the radio opening until the slide clips engage . (Figure B) 2 Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws sup- plied with the unit. (Figure A) 1 Snap the pocket into the Radio Housing . (Figure C) 4 Snap the ISO T rim Plate into the Radio Housing.
