2 99-7863 KIT ASSEMBL Y Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 1 Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage and secure . (Figure B) NO TE: Models equipped with factor y DDIN radio will require supplied O .
3 99-7863 KIT ASSEMBL Y Slide the aftermarket head unit/brack et assembly into the radio opening until the side clips engage . (Figure B) 2 Snap the ISO trimplate over the head unit.
4 FINAL ASSEMBL Y Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart sho wn below and the instructions inc luded with the head unit. Metra recommends making connections as sho wn below; Strip, Splice, Solder , T ape. Isola te and individually tape off ends of an y unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
