V 05/11 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Read the instructions carefully before operati ng t he convector or carrying o ut maintenance operations. Observe all the safety instructions; failure to observe the ins tructions may lead to accide nts and/or damages.
V 05/11 7 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION Use this convector only as outlined in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer ma y cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons. Ensure that the mains voltage complies with that indicated on the conv ector data plate (220-240VAC/50H z).
V 05/11 8 WA RN ING : do not use the convector with an external con troller or any other external device that activates the convector automaticall y, as there may be a risk of fire if the convector is co vered or incorrectly positioned. Upon initial start-up, the convector may emit a slight, harmless smell.
V 05/11 9 HOW TO ASSEMBLE TH E FEET SUPPLIED The convector is packed without feet. These must therefore be assemble d before using the applia nce. To fix the feet supplied to the convector base, use the 4 scre ws provided with the unit, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side.
V 05/11 10 OPERATING TIMER (HI FLOOR DESIGN PLUS model) The model HI FAN DESIGN PLUS is also equi pped with 24 hours timer, which has 96 segments, each of which corresponds to 15 minutes of time and allo ws the lighting and working programmin g of during the 24 hours.
