19 ENGLISH Auto clock setting The Auto Clock feature enables automatic clock setting and updating, and also automates T ime Zone and Daylight Saving Time settings by receiving XDS (Extended Data Service) information carried on the channel signal. Press VCR MENU .

33 ENGLISH Stereo recording and playback / Separate Audio Program (SAP) When a MTS STEREO broadcast is received, the word STEREO will ap- pear on the screen and the program can be viewed or recorded in stereo. The Hi-Fi STEREO recording procedure is the same as for normal recordings.
34 If you connect the VCR to another VCR or camcorder , you can duplicate a previously recorded tape. Make all connections before turning on the power . Duplicating a video tape Load a blank cassette tape with the erase preven- tion tab intact into the recording VCR.

40 A - NOTES: Some discs may not work with the repeat operation. In A-B repeat mode, subtitles near point A or B may not appear . During the A-B Repeat Playback the ANGLE feature will not operate. Y ou may not be able to set A-B Re- peat, depending on the scenes of the DVD.
