1 Thank you for purchasing the Memorex audio system. The serial number of your unit can be found on a label on the bottom of the cabinet. We suggest that you record the serial number in the space provided below in case this information is ever needed at a future date.

4 RADIO OPERA TION Slide the FUNCTION switch to the RADIO position. 1 Rotate the TUNING control to select a station. 3 Slide the BAND switch to select AM, FM or FM STEREO. Noise present in FM broadcasts can be reduced by sliding the BAND switch to FM STEREO position; the broadcast will then be in mono.

Place a CD on the center spindle, with the printed label side facing up. Press the CD Open/Close button ❷ again to close the CD compartment door.

7 NOTES: • Programming is the ability to preselect the order in which a series of tracks will be played. • Each track may be stored in the program memory as many times as desired (up to 30 tracks). • If you attempt to program in more than 30 tracks, the display will show “Fu” (Full).
Caring for Compact Discs • Treat the compact disc carefully. Handle the compact disc only by its edges. Never allow your fi ngers to come in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the compact disc. • Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc.
