T wo “AAA ” size batteries are used for time/alarm backup. Insert the batteries in this unit as follows: 1. Open the Battery Compartment door aq on the bottom of the unit by sliding in direction 1, then lifting it off in direction 2. 2. Insert two (2) “AAA ” batteries into the Battery Compartment as shown.
