6 INSTALLATION I NSTR UCTIONS Unpack R ange 1. Remove shipping materials , tape and film fr om the range. Keep cardboard bottom unde r range. 2. Remove oven racks a nd parts package from inside oven. 3. T o p lace range on its back, t ake 4 car dboard corn ers from the carton.
7 Install Anti-T ip Brack et 1. Remove the an ti-tip bracke t that is taped insi de the upper oven with the packa ge containing li terature. 2. Determine which mounting method to use: floor or wall. If you have a st one or masonry floor you can use th e wall mounting m ethod.
8 Electrical Connection - U .S. A. Only Power Supp ly Cord Di re ct Wi re 1. Discon nect power . 2. Use Phill ips screwd river to r emove the termina l block cover screw located on the back of the range. Pull co ver down and towa rd you t o remov e cove r .
9 Style 2: Direct wire strain r elief ■ Use Phill ips scr ewdriver to rem ove scr ews an d slide cord/conduit plat e down and out. ■ Position cord/conduit plat e as shown in the followin g illu stration . ■ Replace cord/condui t plate and insert s cr ews.

11 2. Use ³⁄₈ " nut drive r to conn ect the n eutral (w hite) wi re t o the cente r termi nal blo ck post w ith one of the 10 -32 hex nuts. 3. Connect lin e 1 (black) and line 2 (red) wires to th e outer termina l block pos ts with 10-32 hex nuts.
12 4. Attach terminal l ugs to line 1 ( black), neutral ( white), and li ne 2 (red) wires. Loosen (do not remove) the setscrew on the front of the termin al lug and ins ert exposed wire end thr ough botto m of termi nal lugs . Secur ely tigh ten se tscr ew to XX lbs-in .
13 Bare Wir e T orque Specifications Atta ching term inal lug s to the t erminal block - 20 lbs-in. (2.3 N- m) 3. Use ³⁄₈ " nut driv er to connect the bare (green) ground wire to the center termi nal block post with one of the 10-32 hex nuts.
14 Mo ving the Ran ge When moving range, sl ide range onto cardboard or har dboard to avoid damaging the floor covering. If removing the range is nece ssary for cleaning or maint enance: For power supply cord-connect ed ranges: 1. Slide range forw ard.
