Style 1: P ow er suppl y cor d stra in relief ■ Remove the sc rews from a ³⁄ ₄ " (1.9 cm) UL liste d strain rel ief (UL m arking on stra in relief).

T he stra in relief should ha ve a tight fit with the dryer cabinet an d be in a horizontal po sition. Do n ot further t ighten str ain relief scre ws at this point.

18 Connect V ent 1. Using a 4" (10.2 cm ) clamp, co nnect ve nt to ex haust outlet in dryer . If connec ting to existing vent, ma ke sure the v ent is clean. T he dry er ve nt must fit ov er the dry er exhaust outlet a nd inside the exhaust h ood.
