4 INTRODUCTION Thank y ou f or purchas ing a Master-Bilt cabinet. T his m anual contains im portant instructions for installing, using and ser vicing a Master-Bilt GT c ase. A parts list is included in with this manual. Read all thes e docum ents caref ully bef ore installing or s ervicing y our equipment.

6 INSTA LLATION INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCT IONS 1. Be sure the equipm ent is properly installed by competent servic e people. 2. Keep the equipment c lean and sanitary so it will meet y our local sanitation c odes. 3. Rotate y our stock so that older st ock does not ac cumulate.
7 To c omply w i th Sanitation requirem ents, the cabinet m ust be m ounted on legs (6” high m inumum ) or the base mus t be sealed to the floor us ing N.S.F. listed RTV s ilicone sealant. Minim um clear ance as follows: 0” r ear and side, top and front ar e open required for c ompliance.
8 The unit def rost is c ontrolled by a tim er in the contro l box. After removing the c ondenser grille, the contr ol box will slide out until the defr ost tim er is visible. T he factor y set def rost is two tim es in 24 hours with a max imum timed inter val of 30 minutes .
9 CLEA NING WA RNING: DO NOT REMO VE FROST WITH A KNIFE , PICK, OR SHA RP OBJECT S. DO NOT USE A BRASIVE CLEA NERS OR CA UST IC CLEA NERS OR SCOURING PADS Every 30 to 60 day s (depending on f rost accum ulation), the cabinet s hould be emptied, warm ed up, and wiped down using a solution of 1 teas poon of baking s oda with 1 quart of water.
10 Glass Lid and Top Deck Removal To rem ove the glass lid, start in the closed position and lift up on the f ront extrusion. Pull the glas s lid towards y ou to rem ove it from the track. Reverse procedure to r einstall. To re move the top deck , slide (rem ove) inser t strip fr om price tag moulding.
