Level Knob Setting the level too h igh wi ll cau se the bass to s eem bl oat- ed and is the single most common cause of bad sounding subwoofers. A rule of thumb is that the subwoofer should not draw attention to itself, but should simply make the sys- tems low end seem more extended and accurate.

12 Placement Changing Woofer Orientation When installing the Dynamo 1000 in a cabinet it is rec- ommended that the subwoofer be converted to a front firing configuration. (see figure 9). 1 Prepare a flat surface with a blanket to protect the Dynamo 1000's finish.
