61D0008 27 OUTSIDE COMBUSTION AIR PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDA TIONS The use of outside air for combustion is optional unless required by building codes. It is only necessary to supply outside combustion air to one side of the fireplace. Use the model AK4 combustion air kit.

It is better to cut wood and allow it to dry for a year . In all cases, the wood should be stacked so that both ends of the sticks are exposed to the air and protected from rain.
