Tape Slack Before putting a tape into the deck, take up any slack with a pencil or your finger tip.
4 ENGLISH FRAN Ç AIS ESP A Ñ OL The operations described below apply to deck A and deck B alike. Switch on your amplifier or receiver. Set the Function Selector or Tape Monitor switch on your amplifier or receiver to TAPE or Tape monitor position.

7 ENGLISH FRAN Ç AIS ESP A Ñ OL 4. Press the SYNC REV button i to set the SYNC REV Mode. The SYNC REV Indicator will light up. To release SYNC REV mode, press the SYNC REV button again. When direction of Deck A and Deck B is only Forward ( ), the SYNC REV mode can be set.

Therefore, the parts depicted in the illustration should be cleaned reguraly. Use a cotton swab moistened with a tape head cleaning solution (such as alcohol).
