11 Adjusting saw chain tension The saw chain may become loose after many hours of use. From time to time check the saw chain tension before use. 1. Press and fully open the lev er until it clicks. T urn it counterclockw ise a little to loosen sprocket cover lightly .
12 010373 NOTE: • Do not turn on and off too often w ithin a short time (five seconds or less). The temperatu re inside the tool will rise and may cause the tool damage. 18 CAUTION : • A worn sprocket damages a new saw chain. Hav e the sprocket rep laced in this ca se. Always fit a new locking ring w hen replacing the sprocket. Maintaining the chain and run-dow n brakes The braking syste ms are very important sa fety features.
