4 10. Alwa ys switch off and wait f or the blade to come to a complete stop before removing the b lade from the w orkpiece. 11. Do not touch the blade or the workpiece immedi- ately after operation; they ma y be extremel y hot and could burn y our skin.
5 Switch action CA UTION: • Before plugging in the tool, alw a ys check to see that the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to the “ OFF ” position when released. • Switch can be lock ed in “ ON ” position for ease of operator comf or t during extended use.
6 rotate the blade clamp slee ve in the direction of the arro w so that it can be lock ed at the released positon. Inser t the saw blade into the b lade clamp as f ar as it will go . The blade clamp slee ve rotates and the sa w blade is fixed. Mak e sure that the saw b lade cannot be e xtracted ev en though y ou try to pull it out.
7 Use a screwdriver to remo ve the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon brushes, inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps.
