8 Installing or removing s aw blade CA UTION: • Alwa ys clean out all chips or foreign matter adhering to the blade , blade clamp and/or slider . F ailure to do so ma y cause insufficient tightening of the blade, resulting in a serious injur y . T o install the blade, loosen the scre w on the blade clamp with the he x wrench.
9 Press the shoe firmly against the wor kpiece . Do not allow the tool to bounce. Bring the blade into light contact with the workpiece. First, make a pilot g roove using a slo wer speed.
