5 T o star t the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. T ool speed is increased by increasing pressure on the s witch trigger . Release the switch trigger to stop . F or continuous opera- tion, pull the switch trigger and then push in the loc k but- ton.
6 ASSEMBL Y CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is s witched off and unplugged before carrying out any work on the tool. Side grip (auxiliary handle) CA UTION: • Alwa ys use the side grip to ensure operating saf ety . Install the side grip so that the teeth on the grip fit in between the protrusions on the tool barrel.
7 Depth gauge (optional accessory) When drilling without dust extractor attachment, the depth gauge is conv enient f or drilling holes of uniform depth. Remov e the dust e xtractor attachment. Loosen the side grip and inser t the depth gauge into the hole in the side grip.
8 Adjusting the position of dust extractor attachment Loosen the clamp screw of the dust e xtractor attachment by turning it counterclockwise. And then align the tip of the bit with the top of the dust extractor attachment. Tighten the clamp screw b y turning it clockwise to secure the dust extr actor attachment.
9 This tool can be also used as a standard rotary hammer without the dust extr actor attachment and the dust bag. Before drilling operation without the dust extr actor attach- ment and the dust bag, plug the hose por t with the cap provided. The cap reduces the e xhaust air from the dust exhaust port for y our comfortable operation.
10 Diamond core drilling When performing diamond core drilling operations, alwa ys set the change le ver to the position to use “ rotation only ” action. CA UTION: If performing diamond core drilling operations using “ rotation with hammering ” action, the diamond core bit may be damaged.

12 7. Ne maltraitez pas le cordon. Ne transportez pas l’outil par son cordon et ne débranchez pas la fiche en tirant sur le cordon. N’exposez pas le cordon à la chal eur , à des huiles, à des arêtes vives ou à des pièces en mouvement. Rempla- cez immédiatement un cordon endommagé.

25 Selección del modo de accionamiento Rotación de martillo P ara taladrar concreto , mamposter í a, etc. pulse la traba y gire la perilla que cambia el modo de accionamento al s í mbolo . Utilice una broca de carburo de tungsteno. Acción de rotación solamente.
26 Instalación y remoción de la broca Limpie el eje de la broca y apl í quele grasa antes de ins- talar la broca. Inser te la broca en la herramienta. Gire la broca y emp ú jela hacia el interior hasta que enganche. Despu é s de instalarla, siempre aseg ú rese de que la broca est é firme en su lugar intentando jalarla hacia fuera.
27 Contenedor de polvo (opcional) Utilice el contenedor de polvo y e vite as í que el polv o caiga sobre la herramienta o sobre usted cuando realice perfor aciones arriba de usted. Adhiera el contenedor de polvo a la broca como se muestr a en la figura.
28 Afloje el tornillo de fijaci ó n del accesor io de extr acci ó n de polvo gir á ndolo en sentido contr ario al de las agujas del reloj. Luego alinee la punta de la broca con la par te superior del extr actor de polvo .
29 Operación de taladrado con percusión Ajuste la perilla que cambia el modo de accionamento al s í mbolo . P osicione la broca en el lugar deseado del orificio y luego accione el interruptor gatillo. No fuerce la herramienta. Con una presi ó n menor , obtiene mejores resultados.
30 P erforación con cor ona diamantada Al efectuar oper aciones de perfor aci ó n, siempre fije la palanca de cambio a la posici ó n para utilizar la acci ó n “ s ó lo rotaci ó n ” .
