5 Lighting up the lamps For Model HR1830F only CA UTION: • Do not look in the light or see the source of light directly . T o tur n on the lamp, pull the trigger . Release the trigger to turn it off. NO TE: • Use a dry cloth to wipe the dir t off the lens of lamp.
6 Side grip (auxiliary handle) CA UTION: • Alwa ys use the side grip to ensure operating saf ety . Install the side grip so that the teeth on the grip fit in between the protrusions on the tool barrel. Then tighten the grip by turning clockwise at the desired position.
7 OPERA TION Hammer drilling operation CA UTION: • There is a tremendous and sudden twisting force ex erted on the tool/bit at the time of hole break- through, when the hole becomes clogged with chips and par ticles, or when striking reinf orcing rods embedded in the concrete.
