Switch action CA UTION: • Before plugging in the tool, alw ays check t o see that the switch lev er actuates properly and returns to the “ OFF ” position when released.
6 (2) For bits without a collar Pivot the tool retainer front and slightly do wnward. With the notched por- tion of the bit facing the tool retainer shaft, insert the bit into the tool holder as far as it will go . Then pivot the tool retainer further downward toward the cylinder to securely retain the bit.
7 Use a hex wrench to remo ve the motor housing cov er. Use a screwdriver to remo ve the brush holder caps. T ake out the w or n carbon brushes, inser t the new ones and secure t he br ush holder caps. Lubrication This tool requires no hourly or daily lubrication because it has a grease- pack ed lubr ication system.
