5 • T o inser t the batter y car tridge, align the tongue on the battery car tr idge with the groov e in the housing and slip it into place. Alwa ys insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If y ou can see the red par t on the lower side of the b utton, it is not lock ed completely .

7 Hold the tool by both hands as sho wn in the figure with the stopper plate contacting the workpiece and the blade clear of the workpiece. T ur n the tool on and wait until the blade attains full speed. Gently lower the b lade into the cut. The weight of the tool or slightly pressing the tool will supply adequate pressure for the cutting.
8 Use a screwdriver to remo ve the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon brushes, inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. 23 Sostenga la herramienta con ambas manos como muestra la figura, con el disco de retenci ó n haciendo contacto con la pieza y sin que la hoja la toque. Encienda la herramienta y espere hasta que la hoja alcance la velocidad m á xima. Baje sua vemente la hoja hacia la posici ó n de cor te.
