7 Installing side grip (auxiliary handle) CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the side grip is installed securely bef ore operation. Screw the side g r ip on the tool securely . The side grip can be installed on either side of the tool, whiche ver is conv enient.
8 Fit the wool bonnet completely ov er the rubber pad and pull the string tight. Tie a bow knot and tuck the knot and an y loose strings between the wool bonnet and the rubber pad. T o remove the wool bonnet, f ollow the installation procedure in re verse.
9 Replacing carbon brushes Remov e and check the carbon brushes regularly . Replace when they we ar down to the limit mark. Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders. Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only iden- tical carbon brushes.
