12 T o remove the he x wrench, push the shor ter side of it out with your finger . Then remove the he x wrench. T o store the hex wrench, inser t the longer side of it into the le ver . 13 Rip fence (Guide rule) The handy rip fence allows y ou to do extr a-accurate straight cuts. Simply slide the rip fence up sn ugly against the side of the workpiece and secure it in position with the screw on the front of the base. It also mak es repeated cuts of uniform width possible .
14 Replacing carbon brushes Remov e and check the carbon brushes regularly . Replace when they we ar down to the limit mark. Keep the carbon brushes clean and free to slip in the holders. Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only iden- tical carbon brushes.
