19 English Getting Star ted Step 3: Setting the speak ers Y ou can adjust the delay time (center and rear speak ers only) and v olume lev el for individual speak ers. These adjustments let you optimize the sound accor ding to your sur roundings and setup .
20 English Step 4: Setting languag e pr eferences Y ou can select your pr eferr ed language settings so that this D VD system will automatically switch to the language f or you whenev er you load a disc. If the language selected is not a vailable on the disc, the disc ’ s default setting language will be used instead.
21 English TIPS : T o return to the pr evious menu, press 1 . T o eixt the menu, press SY STEM MENU . Getting Star ted Pr ogr essive Scan The progr essive scan pr oduces 60 complete frames per second, rather than 30 frames per second of interlaced scanning (normal TV system).
22 English ALL 1 Disc Operations IMPOR T ANT! – If the inhibit icon (or X) appears on the TV screen when a button is pressed, it means the function is not a vailable on the current disc or at the cur rent time. – D VD discs and play ers ar e designed with regional restrictions.
23 English Disc Operations Using the Disc Menu Depending on the disc, a menu ma y appear on the TV screen once y ou load in the disc. T o select a playback f eature or item ● Use the 1 2 3 4 k eys or numeric ke ypad (0-9) on the remote, then press OK to star t pla yback.

25 English Disc Operations Pr ogram fa v orite tracks (audio CDs and VCDs) Y ou can pla y the contents of the disc in the order you want b y programming the order of the tracks to be pla yed. Up to 99 tracks can be stored. 1 Stop playback, then press PROG on the front panel to enter pr ogram mode.

27 English D VD Setup Menu Options Using the menu bar Y ou can continue a number of operations directly via the m ultiple menu bars on the TV screen without inter rupting the disc pla yback. The exception is when you enter (SETUP MENU), after which the pla yback will pause.

This feature lets you set a pla yback limitation lev el. The rating levels ar e from 1 to 8 and ar e countr y dependent.
32 English D VD Setup Menu Options Changing the passwor d Y ou can change the four -digit passwor d used for Parental Contr ol. Enter your four -digit passw ord to pla y a prohibited disc or if prompted for a pass wor d. The default passwor d is ‘ 1234.

T uning to radio stations 1 Press TUNER on the r emote (or press SOURCE control on fr ont panel) to select “ FM ” or “ AM .” 2 Press and hold S / T on the remote until the fr equency indication star ts to change, then release.
