Connect supplied FM Antenna ● Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM (75 Ω ) jack.

12 English Installing the Set under a Cabinet IMPOR T ANT! –N ev er plug in the AC po wer cor d to the pow er outlet befor e installation is completed. ● Y ou may install the set in the kitchen with or without spacer s. The recommended mounting position of the set is under a wall cabinet.

16 English Remote Contr ol Usag e Inserting batteries 1 Pull out the empty batter y compar tment as illustrated. 2 Put a CR2025 lithium batter y (3V) into the compar tment. Make sure the + polarity is face up. 3 Close the compar tment. Using the remote contr ol 1 Aim the Remote Control directly at the remote sensor (IR) on the front panel.
17 English Disc Operations IMPOR T ANT! – Depending on the D VD or VIDEO CD , some operations ma y be differ ent or restricted. – Do not push on the disc tra y or put any objects other than discs in the disc tra y . Doing so may cause malfunction.
18 English Disc Operations To access or exit the menu ● Press MENU on the Remote Control. ➜ For VCD with Playback Control (PBC) feature (v er sion 2.0 only), PBC playback allows y ou to play Video CDs interactively , following the menu on the display .
19 English Disc Operations F orward/re verse sear ching 1 Press à / á dur ing playback to select the required speed: 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X or 32X (backward or forward). ➜ Sound will be muted (D VD/VCD) or inter mittent (CD). 2 To retur n to normal speed, press É on the remote control or ÉÅ on the front panel.
20 English Disc Operations Pla ying JPEG Picture CD 1 Load a JPEG Picture CD . 2 Press OK and 1 / 2 to select a submenu of pictures. 3 Press 3 / 4 to select the contents. Repeat (MP3/JPEG) ● Press REPEA T continuously to access different play modes.
21 English Other Functions W atching TV 1 Ensure normal TV antenna and power cord connection. 2 Switch on the system. 3 Press TV on the remote control or SOURCE on the front panel to switch to the TV mode .
22 English PICTURE The options included in PICTURE setup page are: ‘Br ightness’, ‘Contr ast’, ‘Color’, ‘Language’ and ‘Reset’. 1 Press TV/LCD SETUP on the remote control or front panel to enter the PICTURE setup menu as illustrated.
23 English System Menu Options Skip ● To activate Skip , press 2 . ➜ The current channel will be skipped when y ou use 3 / 4 to select channels. ● To deactivate Skip , press 1 . ➜ The channels will be play ed in sequence when you select normal playback.
