9 H OW TO U SE THE P ICTURE A DJUSTMENT C ONTROLS T o adjust your TV pictur e controls, select a channel and follow these steps. 1 Press the MENU/SELECT button on the remote control to show the onscreen menu. 2 Press the CURSOR UP or CURSOR DOWN but- ton to highlight PICTURE.
10 H OW TO U SE THE S OUND A DJUSTMENT C ONTROLS Tr eble – enhances the high frequency sounds. Bass – enhances the low frequency sounds. Balance – adjusts the level of sound coming from the left and right speakers.

13 U NDERST ANDING THE A UTO L OCK ™C ONTROLS G: General Audience - All ages admitted. Most parents would find this programming suitable for all ages. This type of program- ming contains little or no violence, no strong language, and little or no sexual dia- logue or sexual situations.
14 A utoLock TM allows par ents to block out or “censor” any channels they think childr en should not watch. A channel blocked by the AutoLock TM contr ol cannot be viewed until a cor- r ect access code is used to unlock the channel for viewing. First, let’ s set your AutoLock access code.
15 H OW TO L OCK C HANNELS USING A UTO L OCK ™ Remember that 071 1 is the default AutoLock TM code. If your access code has been changed by someone other than you (a child, for example) or you have forgotten the code, you can always get in by inputting the default code.
