7 Before Your First Use Carefully unpack the coffee maker and remove all p ackaging materials. Wipe the heating stand with a clean, damp cl oth. Do not immerse the heating stand in water or other liquid.

9 Never immerse the heating plate or main hou sing in water or any other liquid. Do not try to clean the inside of the water chambe r with a cloth, this will leave a residue of lint and may clog your coffee maker. Just rinse with cold water periodically.
