Magellan Content Manager The Magellan Content Manager i s a PC based applicati on that has a number of im portant features to help you manage the content of your Magellan Maes tro. With the Conte nt Manager you can: • Backup the content stored on your device to your PC and resto re it back to your device later.
Installing the Magell an Content Manager Follow these steps to install Content Ma nager on your computer: 1. First locate and run the installer applicati on: • Insert the CD supplied with your Magell an M aestro in your PC, and start installing Content Manager, or • Visit www.
• Click Yes to accept the new software version. The ne w version will be download ed, installed, and then you can start us ing the Magellan Content Mana ger. • Click No to start the Magellan Content Manager with t he old version already installed.
Updating the Content of Your Magellan Maestro If new content or updated content is avai lable for your Magellan Ma estro, the Update button is displayed. 1. Make sure your Magellan Maestro is fully charged before proceedi ng. 2. Make sure your PC is still conne cted to the Internet.
