6 PLACEMENT The SRS1500 subw oofer is designed to sit on the floor or on sturdy stands. A socket is pr o vided on the top of the SRS1500 for mounting the Mackie SRM450 active speak er . Use the optional Mackie speaker mounting pole to mount the SRM450 on the SRS1500 (see Hookup Diagram on page 5).
7 AC POWER Be sure the SRS1500 is plugged into an outlet that is able to supply the correct v olt- age specified for your model. If the v oltage should drop belo w 97% of the specified line v oltage , the built-in amplifiers will no longer be able to supply rated po w er .
8 No sound • Is the input LEVEL control for the input source or the sub w oofer turned all the wa y down? V erify that all the volume controls in the system ar e pr operly adjusted. • Is the signal source w orking (and making union scale)? Make sur e the connecting cables are in good r epair and secur ely connected at both ends.
