4 INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing Mackie Designs’ active sound r einforcement speak er systems. The FUSSION 1800SA and 1800S is an extr eme output activ e subwoofer system. Designed to live on the r oad, this subw oofer system is a double 18˝ design brok en down into two individual enclosur es that make load-in and load-out quick and easy .
5 REAR P ANEL DESCRIPTION POWER Switch Switch up to turn the FUSSION 1800SA on, and switch down to turn it off. Mak e sure the signal sour ce’s lev el control is turned down befor e you turn it on.
6 CONNECTIONS Balanced XLR Connectors POWER OUT 35-85Hz MIN. 8 1 4 2 3 +– The LOOP OUT connector allows y ou to connect mor e than one FUSSION 1800SA to the SUB OUT connector from y our FUSSION full-r ange active speak er system.
7 PLACEMENT The FUSSION 1800SA and 1800S subw oofers are designed to sit on the floor or sturdy stands. Y ou can stack cabinets vertically . If you do, place the FUSSION 1800S A and 1800S on the bottom of the stack, side b y side , and place the full-r ange active Fussion Series cabinets on top.
8 RIGGING The FUSSION 1800SA and 1800S cabi- nets are not designed for rigging or flying. The cabinets are for floor-mounting only . W ARNING: Nev er attempt to suspend the FUSSION 1800SA or 1800S loudspeak ers by their handles. AC POWER The FUSSION 1800SA is shipped with a connector that mates with the A C recep- tacle on the rear panel.
