1 Congratulations on purchasin g your Trio Personal Media Player! T o get the most out of your purchase, ple ase take the time to carefully read through this manual. 2 verify that your download ser vice allows you to do wnload files in MP3 format, or a non encrypted W MA format before loading files to the player. ● The playback times listed r efer to the maximum playback tim es possible, using the best po wer savings.
3 Increase the separati on between the equipment a nd the receiver Connect the equipment to a n outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an e xperienced radio/T V technician for help. Caution Do not use the player in e xceptionally cold or hot, dust y , dam p or dry environments.
4 Appearance Basic Operations Powering on: Set the ON/OFF s witch to the ON position, th en press and hold the PLA Y button for 5 seconds. Powering off: Press and hold the PLA Y button for 5 seconds, until the player powers off. Once the device is powered off, set the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
5 Please note that if you do no t press and hold the PLAY button before setting the ON/OFF switch, the de vice will not retain any settings changes you have made. Adjusting the volume: In Music, Record, Radi o modes, press the VOL- or VOL+ buttons to decr ease or increase the volume.
6 2. Open the Windows Media Player Sync tab. 3. Drag your music to the s ync list (on the right of the screen) fr om the list on the left. Once you have select ed the music you wish to add t o the player , press “Start Sync”.
7 4. W indows Media player will load the songs on to your MP3 player. 5. Once all the songs y ou have added are s ynced to the unit, and Windows Media Player says that is safe to disconnect your MP3 pla yer , disconnect the device.
8 COPY A ND P A STE NOTE- This method is also used t o load your lyric or text f iles to the player . 1. Connect the MP3 player to a working USB port. 2. When the unit is c onnected to your comp uter , it will create a gray and green icon in the sys tem tray (lower right hand corner o f your desktop).
9 4. Locate the drive created b y the unit, generall y just called Removable Disk, with a letter in Parenthesis. D rive letters vary depending on your system configuration. 5. Open the drive by either dou ble left clicking on the drive itself, or b y right clicking to open the opti on menu then left click on the d esired drive.
