6 Liste ning to M essages When you l og i n to your mai lbox to li sten to messages, new mess ages are play ed befor e old/ saved messages . All new message s are playe d in the or der in whi ch they wer e recei ved. Note t hat after you hav e li stened t o a new mes sage, it beco m es an old message.
7 For war ding a Message Y ou can forwar d a message up to th irteen (13) tim es. After list ening to a mess age in your mai lbox: 1. Pr ess to forwar d the message wit h a voi ce comment. The pr ompt says, “Aft er r ec ord in g, p re ss 1. Rec or d at t he tone .
8 T r ansfer ring to a n Extensio n Whil e logged in to V oice Mai l Service, you can tr ansfer to anot her extensi on. To t r a n s f e r : 1. Pr ess . The pr ompt says, “Ple as e en ter e xt en si on num ber . ” 2. Enter the extens ion nu m ber that you want, or pr ess to tr an sfe r to the re ceptionis t's extens i on.

11 Cha n gi n g Y our Password T o pr event unaut hori zed access to you r m ailbox and maximize sys t em secur ity , change your password t he first ti me you log into V oice Mail and peri odical ly there after . It is st rongl y recommend ed that you use a 4- digit passwor d.
12 Outca lling Y our Syst em Manager may allow you to use the Outcal ling feat ure. With Outcal ling permissi on, you can spe cify up to fiv e dif fer ent number s that the mail syst em wil l cal l when you r eceive a new m essage .
13 T urning O utcalling On/Off Pr ess t o turn the Out calling fe atur e on (or of f). NOT E: If you turn of f the Outcal ling feat ure, your predef ined Out calling n umber and schedul e are save d in the syst em.

22 Loc ki ng Y our T eleph one This featur e allows you to sec ure you r telephone whe n you are awa y f ro m your desk for extended per iods. Y ou use this feat ure when t he teleph one is idle or whil e active on a call. When yo u lift the ha ndset or act ivat e the spe akerphone on a locked telephone , you hear si lence.
