1 Warnings and Cautions Caution: Use the radar at your own risk. Your radar was designed for use as a navigation a id. It should not be used for purposes that re- quire precise measurements of direct ion, distance, topography or location.
2 RIM 300 Installation The RIM 300 will rep lace the power cable that came with your disp lay unit. Your RIM 300 has t hree cables branchin g out from th e cable plug, which include: radar data cable, display unit power cab le and NMEA 2000 power cable.
3 the red and black wires to pow er your display unit. Attach th e red wire (+) to an accessor y switch or p ower bus connected to a 12-volt batt ery. Connect the black grou nd wire (–) to the batt ery negative p ost. Tip If possible, kee p the power cable aw ay from oth er boat wiring, e spe- cially the en gine's wires.
