Getting Started 7 Getting S t arted The LW1001 and LW1002 come with the following compone nts: CHECK YOUR PACKAGE TO CONFIRM T HAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED ALL COMPONENTS AS LISTED ON THE BOX. * PACKAGE CONTENTS WILL VARY BY SPECIFIC MODEL. PLEASE REFER TO THE P ACKAGE FOR CONTENT DETAILS.
Wireless Receiver 8 Wireless Receiver 1. DC 9V (5V for LW1020/ LW1022) INPUT – Connection port for the 9V/5V Power Adaptor (provide d with this system). Connect the Power Adaptor to a power source. NOTE: It is recommended that the receiver be connected to a surge ba r or similar to protect the equip ment from damage.
Control Buttons 9 LW1001 and LW1002 Control Buttons 1. AUTO BUTTON – Whe n the receiver is set to AUTO Mode, it will continuously switch between connected cameras. The dwell time is set to 4 se conds per camera (by default), howeve r this can be adjusted to 2~30 secon ds.
Camera Installation 10 Camera Inst allation Before you install the camera(s), carefu lly plan whe re and ho w it will be positioned, and where you will route the cable that connects the cam era to the power adaptor or battery adaptor.
Camera Installation 11 Installing the Camera: 1. Carefully unpack the Camera. 2. Decide whether the camera will b e permanently wall mounted or sit on a tabletop: • If you decide to place the camera on a tabletop or other flat surfa ce, the camera can easily be moved to different location s as desired.
12 Wall Mounting Instructions (for the LW1010, LW1012, LW1020, LW1022 ONLY) To mount the camera to a wall: 1. Loosen the screw located on the side of the camera base using a sl ot head screwdriver. 2. Pull the camera free from the Stand. Mount the stand to the wall: • Mark the position of the two screw holes on the wall.
13 4. Insert the Camera into the top slot of the stand. 5. Point the camera in the desired position. Tighten the side scre w to secure the camera to the Stand.
14 NOTE : Wireless cameras requi re a power source (either an elect ri cal outlet or battery power) to operate. If you plan to permanently mount the camera in a location, it is recommended to use the included Camera Power a daptor to prevent interrupt ions in the image, as the battery adaptor is intended as a temporary power solution .
