2 Pr oduc t O ver view Linksys WES610N/WET610N 2 Thank you for choosing the Linksys Dual-Band N Entertainment Bridge. The bridge can connec t any wired, Ethernet device to your wireless network . The bridge is based on dual-band Wir eless-N, so it is compatible with any Wir eless-N, - G, -A, or -B router or access point.
3 Pr oduc t O ver view Linksys WES610N/WET610N P or ts panel WES610N WET610N Ethernet The Ethernet port(s) connects the bridge to a computer or other Ethernet net work device. The WES610N has f our por ts, and the WET610N has a single port. Reset There are two ways to reset the bridge’ s factor y defaults.

8 Advanc ed Configura tion Linksys WES610N/WET610N Basic Wir eless S ettings Network Name (SSID) The SSID is the network name shared among all points in a wir eless network. The SSID must be identical for all devices in the wireless network. I t is case -sensitive and must not exceed 32 characters (use any characters on the keyboard).

Access the bridge ’ s browser -based utility . 2. On the Basic Wireless S ettings screen, make sure the Net work Name (SSID ) matches the name of your wir eless network.
