6 1 . Frame Construction: Frame is constructed of mechanical quality steel purchased in mill run quantities. Frame is pri- marily 3" x 3" square shaped tubing and 3” x 2” shaped tubing with 7 gauge and 1 1 gauge wall thickness. 2. Frame Finish: The frames are coated with an electrostatic epoxy powder coat finish.

9 STEP 1: Loosely assemble the two FRONT RIGHT UPRIGHTS (1) and the two FRONT LEFT UPRIGHTS (2) to the two BASES (3) using eight 1/2 x 4-1/2” BOL TS (4), eight BACKING DOME WASHERS (5), eight 1/2” INT LOCK W ASH- ERS (6) and eight 1/2” LOCK NUTS (7).
10 STEP 2: LOOSEL Y assemble the two CROSS SUPPORTS (8) and two PULL-UP SUPPORTS (9) to the top of the FRONT RIGHT & LEFT UPRIGHTS (1 & 2) using eight 1/2 X 4-1/2” BOL TS (4), sixteen 1/2” INT TOOTH LOCK W ASHERS (6) and eight 1/2” LOCK NUTS (7).
11 STEP 3: Assemble the bottom of the four REAR UPRIGHTS (1 1) to the bottom of the BASES (3) using eight 1/2 X 4-1/2” BOL TS (4), eight BACKING DOME WASHERS (5), eight 1/2” INT T OOTH LOCK WASHERS (6) and eight 1/2” LOCK NUTS (7).
12 STEP 4: SECUREL Y assemble the bottom of the ten WEIGHT HORNS (12) to the REAR UPRIGHTS (1 1) using twenty 3/8 x 4-1/2” BOL TS (13), twenty BACKING DOME W ASHERS (5), forty 3/8” FLA T WASHERS (14), and twenty 3/8” LOCK NUTS (15).
13 STEP 6: Assemble the the LONG BENCH LOCK (16) to the LOWER CROSS BRACE (10) using two 1/2 X 3-1/2” BOL TS (17), two BACKING DOME W ASHERS (5), two 1/2” INT LOCK W ASHERS (6), and two 1/2” LOCK NUTS (7).
14 STEP 7: Insert the two LEFT BAR CA TCHES (18) and the two LEFT BAR SUPPORTS (19) into the desired slot s of the two FRONT LEFT UPRIGHTS (2). Insert the two RIGHT BAR CA TCHES (20) and the two RIGHT BAR SUPPORTS (21) into the desired slot s of the two FRONT RIGHT UPRIGHTS (1).
15 STEP 8: S potter Platform accessories are available for the HDCR8. Assemble each S potter Platform (C) to the FRONT RIGHT & LEFT UPRIGHTS (1 & 2) using two BOL TS (D), two DOME W ASHERS (E), two SP ACERS (F), one WEAR PLA TE (G), two FLA T W ASHERS (H), and two NUTS (I) as shown in the illustration.
16 Clean: • Hand grips with mild soap and water . • Frame damage can be repaired with touch-up p aint can be purchased from your Hammer Strength customer service represent ative. Inspect: • Hardware should be checked for looseness. T ighten as required.
