STEP 3: FIGURE 3 • Remove and discard one 2” SQ. END CAP from the end of the UPRIGHT FRAME as shown in FIGURE 3. • Slide the CARRIAGE off the UPRIGHT FRAME and discard as shown in FIGURE 3.
5 STEP 5: FIGURE 5 STEP 4: FIGURE 4 • Insert two 3 X 2” END CAPS (8) into the ends of the ST ACK BOOM (2) as shown in FIGURE 4. • SECUREL Y assemble the 1-3/4 X 9-3/8” TUBE (3) to the ST ACK BOOM (2) using one 1/2 X 2-3/4” BOL T (17), two 1/2” W ASHERS (19), and one 1/2” LOCK NUT (20) as shown in FIGURE 4.
STEP 6: FIGURE 6 • SECUREL Y assemble the ST ACK BASE (1) to the bottom of the UPRIGHT FRAME using one1/2 X 3-1/4” BOL T (18) and one 1/2” LOCK NUT (20) as shown in FIGURE 6. STEP 7: FIGURE 7 • Snap two WEIGHT PLA TE BUSHINGS (23) into the top of all twenty WEIGHT PLA TES (25) as shown in FIGURE 7.
7 FIGURE 8 STEP 8: • Insert two GUIDE RODS (4) into the ST ACK BASE (1) as shown in FIGURE 8. Lubricate the GUIDE RODS (4) with a slicon or teflon spray that is available at most hardware stores. • Slide two WEIGHT ST ACK CUSHIONS (21) down over the GUIDE RODS (4).
8 STEP 9: FIGURE 9 • LOOSEL Y assemble the T OP BOOM to the UPPER CROSS SUPPOR T using two previously removed 3/8 X 4” BOL TS, four 3/8” W ASHERS, and two 3/8” LOCK NUTS. See FIGURE 10. • SECUREL Y tighten all connections made up to this point.
9 STEP 12: FIGURE 12 • Route the 129-1/2” CABLE (7) through the TO P BOOM and the ST ACK BOOM (2) as shown in FIGURE 1 1. • SECUREL Y assemble two 3-1/2” PULLEYS (6) to the ST ACK BOOM (2) using two 3/8 X 2-3/4” BOL TS (13), four 3/8” FLANGE SP ACERS (14), and two 3/8” LOCK NUTS (16) as shown in FIGURE 12.
STEP 13: FIGURE 13 !IMPORT ANT! SECUREL Y TIGHTEN JAM NUT 10 7 • Screw the threaded end of the CABLE (7) approximately 3/4” into the end of the 20 HOLE SELECTOR SHAFT (5) and tighten jam nut securely . See FIGURE 13. Thank you for pur chasing the Parabody 897104 WEIGHT ST ACK OPTION.
