Mechanical Installation 2 1.0 M ECHANICAL I NST ALLATION 1.1 Introduction This following se ction describes the requiremen ts th at must be taken into account when p lanning the positioning and cabling of the Li ebert NXL Input/Output Cabinet.
Mechanical Installation 3 1.4.1 Moving the Cabinet s The Liebert NXL Input/Output Cabinet can be handled with a f orklift or similar equipment. When moving the unit by forklift, care must be take n to protect the panels. Do not exceed a 15-degree tilt with the forklift.
Electrical Installation 4 2.0 E LECTRICAL I NST A LLATION This chapter provid es guidelines fo r qualified install ers who must have knowledge of local wiring practices pertaining to the equipment to be installed. 2.1 External Protective Devices For safety, circuit breakers must be installed in the input AC supply and external ba ttery system.

Electrical Installation 6 Top Cable Entry When making the power connections, the recommended order of pulling and installing cables is to start from the top connections to the bottom connections. The cables must be routed around the fault braces (see Detail in Figure 3 ).
