To open a sa v ed imag e: 1I f necessary, start the OneScanner Dispatcher application to open the Dispatcher window. 2C l i ck Archive. A di alo g bo x op ens . 3S elect the name of the folder you want. 4C lick Select “folder name” (the large button at the bottom of the window).

Pain ting wi th br ush e s To paint with strok es o f v ariou s size s: 1S e l ect the brush. 2C l i ck one of the brush sizes on the brush palette. 3 Drag the brush to paint in the foreground color. Cloni ng A cl one is a d upl ic ate of a small part of an ima ge .
2P ress the Option key and then click the spot you want to serve as a reference point for the clone. In t he e x ample , y ou ’ d c lic k a point i n the shr ubb ery . 3M ove the clone tool over the point at which you want the image to begin repeating, then start dragging.
As y ou ex tend the painting , the rest o f the c loned ima ge appears—or as muc h o f it as y ou w a nt to paint. Ti p: F or a more natural appearance , repos iti on the ref erence point from t ime to t i me . T o do t his , pres s the O pti on ke y a nd c lic k the new spot y ou w ant to cl o n e.

Cut t ing To c u t a selec tion fr om an imag e: 1S elect the area you want to cut. 2T o store a temporary copy of what you cut on the Clipboard, choose Cut from the Edit menu (or press x –X). 3T o remove the selection without storing a temporary copy of it, press the Delete key.

Sharp eni ng an image Y ou ma y noti ce that the ed ge s o f a n imag e are s of ter than y ou w ant them to be . Or , y ou ma y w ant to s o ften ed ge s that l ook t oo shar p . To s h a r pen an ima ge: m Choose a command from the Sharpen submenu in the Image menu.
Amount Th e amount determi n es w hat p ercentag e o f chang e will occur . Th e def ault sett i ng i s 50 percent. I ncrease up t o 1 0 0; decrease do wn t o 1 . A hi gher per centa ge mak e s the effect stro nge r . Radius The r a diu s deter mi n es the depth o f pix el s that are af f ected at t h e ed ge yo u ’r e changin g .
Re si zi ng an im a g e Y ou c a n set a sp ecif ic s ize f or a n imag e . To res ize: 1 Open the image and choose Resize from the Image menu. The R e s i ze di alo g bo x opens . 2C hoose the units you want to use from the Units pop-up menu. 3T y p e the new size and click OK.
Croppi ng an image Y ou c a n select an area of a n ima ge and then eliminate the su r rounding area. To c r op an imag e: 1S elect the area you want to remain in the image. 2C hoose Crop from the Image menu. Th e area around t he select ion i s deleted.
