27 No te ] The metal contact of the SIM card can be easily damaged by scratches. Pay special attention to the SIM card while handling. Follow the instructions supplied with the SIM card. 3. Install the ba t tery . Insert the bot tom of the ba t tery fir st into the bo t t om edge of the bat tery compartment.
Installa tion Char ging the Bat t ery 1. Ensure the ba t tery is fully char ged before using the phone for the fir st time. 2. W ith the arro w facing you as sho wn in the diagr am push the plug on the bat tery adapt er int o the socket on the side of the phone until it clicks int o place.
29 W arning ] Unplug the power cord and charger during lightning storms to avoid electric shock or fire. ] Make sure that no sharp-edged items such as animal teeth or nails, come into contact with the battery.

31 Ending a Call When you ha ve finished your call, pr ess the ke y . Making a Call F rom the C ontact list Y ou can sav e the names and phone number s dialled regularly in Cont acts. Y ou can sa ve them t o the SIM card and/or phone memory . Y ou can dial a number b y simply looking up the desir ed name in the phonebook and pressing the ke y .

37 Using the 1 2 3 (Numbers) Mode The 1 2 3 Mode enables you t o enter number s in a te xt message (a t elephone number , for ex ample). Pre ss the ke ys corr esponding t o the requir ed digits befor e manually switching back t o the appropriat e te xt entry mode.

Pr ofiles 45 Profile s In Profile s, you can adjust and cust omise the phone tone s for different e vents, envir onments, or caller gr oups. There ar e sev en pre set profile s: General, Silent, V ibra te only , Outdoor , Headset, Car and Offline . Each profile can be personalised.
Not e ] Offline profile only supports Ring volume, Keypad tone, Keypad volume, Flip tone, Effect sound volume, Power on/off volume options. ] Call alert type: Set the alert t ype for incoming calls. ] Ring tone: Select the de sired ring t one from the list.
Call r egist er 47 Call regist er Y ou can check the recor d of missed, receiv ed, and dialled calls only if the net work supports the Calling Line Identification (CLI) within the service ar ea. The number and name (if a vailable) ar e display ed t ogether with the dat e and time at which the call wa s made.

Cont acts Menu 4.1 Sear ch contacts (Menu 4.1.1) 1. Select Search b y pressing the right soft k ey [Cont acts] or [OK]. 2. Ent er the name that you w ant to sear ch. No te ] Instant searching is available by inputting the initial letter of the name you want to search.

No te ] The recording time of "Unlimited" can be dependent upon the recording duration, the data size and the available capacity of memory.

81 Multimedia The file format of MP4, M4A, WMA cannot be support ed b y Bluetoo th. No te ] KG810 doesn't support the variable bit rate of all mentioned file types. Therefore, you can't change the file from MP3 format to AAC. Y ou can tr ansfer MP3 files from a compa tible PC to the memory in y our phone using the Mass St or age function.
Multimedia Multimedia 82 ] Shuffle: On/Off Pla ylist (Menu 6.4.2) This menu allo ws you t o view the whole pla y list. Y ou can move thr ough the tr acks by pre ssing the naviga tion ke y . In addition, once you ha ve select ed the tr ack, you can delet e the file or view it s information via the options menu.
83 Multimedia Memory sta tus (Menu 6.4.4) Y ou can check the amount of memory free and used. FM Radio Menu 6.5 Y ou can search and tune int o your fa vourit e radio st ation. Bro wser Br ow ser 86 Y ou can access various W AP (Wir eless Application Pr otocol) service s such as banking, new s, wea ther reports and flight information. The se services are speciall y designed for mobile phones and the y are maint ained b y W AP service pro viders.
87 Bro wser No te ] The WAP browser menus may vary, depending on your browser version. ] You can download WAP contents by 200 Kbyte. Home Menu 7 .1 Connects t o a homepage. The homepage will be the sit e which is defined in the activa ted pr ofile. It will be defined by the service pr ovider if y ou ha ve not defined it in the activa ted pr ofile.
