NOTE : When you turn on your phone for the rst time, essential settings are going to be guided. Please follow the instructions on the screen to activate your device.
11 n h en r] > Double T ap A double tap is two quick downward touches on the screen in the same place. The double tap commands the phone to zoom in or out, as appropriate. T ouch and Hold T o touch and hold, the nger is pressed down and held there for a f ew seconds.

A ick gesture moves content from one area to another area. The controls or the application can be con gured to support speci c icking directional behavior .

21 Customizing y our Windows Phone Get more from your devic e by customizing it to match your pref erences. Set the current time and date In Idle mode, open the application list and select Settings > System > date & time Ta p S et automatically bar and change the date and time and other options.
22 L G-C900B | User Guide NOTES : Once the PIN lock is enabled, you must enter the PIN each time you turn on the device. If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times , your SIM card will be blocked. Y ou must enter a PIN Unlock Key (PUK) to unblock the SIM card.

And when you add F acebook, your friends’ feeds appear in your P eople hub, their photos show up in your P ictures hub, and your own f eeds pop up in your Me tile.

Y ou can also place calls using the Phone Tile on start. TIP ! T o enter “+” to make international calls, touch and hold down [0+] .

I.e. if you ha ve one outbound call active and one outbound call on hold, you will be charged f or both the active call and the held call. Viewing y our call history On the Start screen, press the to view Call log.
29 g t: e d Messaging T o send a text message On Start, tap Messaging > New . Do one of the following: Begin typing a person's name in the T o: box, and then tap a matching contact name in the list. Repeat to add more recipients, and their names will be added automatically in the T o: box.

47 People Hub The rst time you start up W indows Phone 7, the Start screen will be fairly bare. In the People Hub , in par ticular, most of the nine squares in the hub will be empty . After you import your contacts, you can add photos to your contacts, and the P eople tile squares will show small thumbnails of your contacts.

59 Bluetooth Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology capable of exchanging information o ver a distance of about 10 metres without requiring a physical connection. Y ou do not need to line up the devices to beam information with Bluetooth.
