2 Using the software to select y our printer settings Use the following table to s elect a pr int quali ty or pap er type s etting : Wind ows Macintosh 1 With y our docume nt open, clic k File Print Properties or Pref erenc es. 2 F rom the Qual ity/Cop ies tab , select a print quality setting.

If you are using a parallel cable, make sure it is an IEEE-128 4 compliant cable t hat suppor ts bidirectional printing.
15 Mak e su re: • Y ou com p letely removed the stic ker and tr ansparent tape from the back and bot tom of both pr int car tridges. • Y ou inst alled the blac k car tridge (P/N 82) in the left carrier and the color cartr i dge (P/N 83 or 88) in the right carrier .

19 Make sure y our printer is selected in Chooser: a F r om the Apple menu, choose Chooser . b In the left window , highlight the Le xmark Z55 pr inter icon. If your printer is not listed, install the printer sof tware (see page 22). c In the Connect to: box, highl ight the Le xmar k Z55 pr inter icon.
