Printing Tips for print ing • Use the appro priate pape r for y our prin t job. • Sele ct a h igher pr int q u ality for better print s. • Mak e sure th ere is enough ink in th e ink c artridg es. • Remove each sheet as it i s prin ted when prin ting phot os or when w orking with s pecial ty media.

How can I check th e dial ton e? A di al tone lets you k now if th e tel eph one l ine is wor king or if th e p rin ter is prop erly c on nect ed to the te leph one l ine . If yo u e ncou nter prob lems s endi ng an d rec eivi ng f axes, the n make sure you ca n hea r a dia l ton e on the l ine an d thro ugh t he pr inte r.

Can I ret rieve f ailed faxes? The p ri nter sa ve s an in comin g fax to th e pri nter memor y bef ore i t pr ints the f ax. If the p rin ter ru ns o ut of ink o r ru ns out of pap er, then you can prin t the fax lat er after reso lving the error. The pr inter pr ompts y ou if there are fax es to be printed.
