2 Ligh tly pr ess the st op on the left si de of the ac cess door, and then sl ide t he acce ss d oor to rem ove it. 3 1 2 3 Unpack the ISP kit. Note: M ake su re to remo ve and discar d the small cable attache d to the whit e conn ector .
4 Place the plastic bracket inside the ISP exterior cover until it clicks into p lac e. 5 Sli de and pu sh th e ISP s oluti on int o the p lasti c bra cket.
7 Tigh ten the two screws on t he end of t he ISP soluti on. 8 Atta ch th e white pl ug of the IS P so lution i nter face cable into the whit e rece ptacl e on th e ISP.
9 Atta ch th e ISP e xter ior c over at an an gle by inserting the left hinges firs t. 10 Lower the rest of th e cover, and then slide the cover t o the right.
11 Run t he ISP cable throug h the contr oller board shi eld. 12 Open the sh ield using the green hand le. 13 Attach the blu e plu g of the ISP solu tion inter face cabl e int o the b lue recept acle o n the co ntroll er bo ard. Note: If you hav e insta lled a pr inter hard di sk, the n you ne ed to remove i t.
14 Clos e the shield. 15 Close the ISP exterior cover. Note: When the printer software a nd any har dware opti ons ar e installed, it may be neces sary to manual ly add the option s in t he printe r drive r to make them av ailabl e for prin t jobs .

5 Load th e paper st ack. Notes: • Load with the printable side facedown when using recycled or preprinted paper. • Load prepunched paper with the holes on the to p edge toward the front of the t ray. • Load le tterhea d facedown , with the top edge of the sheet t oward the front of th e tray.
6 Ins ert the tra y. 1 7 From the printe r contr ol panel, set the pape r size and paper typ e in the Pa per menu t o match the paper lo aded in the tray. Note: Set the corr ect pa per si ze an d type to a void pa per j ams an d pri nt qua lity prob lems.
a Pull the multipurpose feeder extender . b Pull the extender gently so th at the multipurpose feeder is fu lly extended and open. 2 Squeeze the tab on the left width gu ide, and then move the gu ides for the paper you are loading.
3 Prepare the paper or specialty media for loading. • Flex sheets of pap er back and forth to loos en them, and then fan them. Do n ot fold or crease th e paper. Str aighten the edges on a level surface. • Hold transparencies by the edges. Flex th e stack of transparen cies back and forth to loosen them, and then fan them.
• Load paper, transparencies, and card stock with the recomm ended printable side faceup and the top edge entering the prin ter first. For mor e informa tion on loading trans parencies, see the packag ing that the transparencies came in.
• Load let terhea d faceu p with th e top edg e entering the pr inter first. For two ‑ sided (duplex ) print ing, loa d letterhead facedown with the bott om edge ent ering the printer first. • Load envelopes with the flap on the left side facedown.

1 Open a Web browser, and then type the print er IP address in the ad dress field. Note: View the printer IP address on th e printer home s creen. The IP address app ears as four sets of numbers separa ted by perio ds, such as 123.123 .123.123. 2 Click Sett ing s > Apps > Apps Manage ment > Fo rms and Favor ites .

Using the standa rd bin and pape r stop The sta ndard bin holds up to 150 sheets of 75 ‑ g/m 2 (20 ‑ lb) paper. It colle cts prin ts face down. The standar d bin i ncludes a paper st op that keeps paper f rom sl iding out the f ront of the bin as it s tacks.
