3 Align a 650-sheet duo drawer with the op tio nal 550-sheet tray, and then lo wer it into place. 4 Alig n the pr inter wi th the 650-s heet duo drawer , and then low er the pr inte r into place.
Att a ch ing cab le s Connec t the print er to the c omputer using a US B cable or an E thernet cable. A USB port r equire s a USB cable. Be sure to mat ch the USB sym bol on the ca ble with th e USB symb ol on the prin ter. Match th e approp riate Ethernet cab le to the Ethern et port.
Printing a network set up pa ge If the pri nter is attac hed to a netw ork, print a network set up page to ver i fy th e networ k connection. T his page a l so provide s impor tant informa tion t hat aids network pr inting conf iguration . 1 Make s ure the pri nter is o n and Rea dy a ppears .
Updat ing ava ilable opt ions in t he prin ter driver Once t he printer soft ware an d any o ptions ar e instal led, it m ay be nec es sary to manu ally ad d the options i n the printer drive r to make them availa ble fo r print jobs. For Wi ndow s us er s 1 Open the Printers folder: a Click , or click Start and then c lick Run .
