4 Welcome Thank you for purchasing the LevelOne W UA - 0605 N_Max W ireless USB Adapte r . The W UA- 06 05 is a 802.1 1n compliant W ireless Adapter which is designed to be both af fordable, and offer fast speeds of up to 30 0 Mbps .

6 Wireless US B Adapter Installation The following instructions will guide you to through the process o f inst a lling the W ireless USB Adapter . Windo w s XP / V ist a / 7 Setup Note: Screen captures shown in this guide are from W indows X P. Unless mentioned, there are no differences in Vista.

9 8. Please click “Finish” and restart your computer. 9. After your computer has restarted, t h e WUA-0605 Utility icon will appear in your taskbar.
10 10. Now in sert the W ireless USB Adapter into y our co m puter’s USB port. The “Found New Hardware Wizard” will appear. 11. Follow t he prompts until you see that the W UA-0605 has been succ essfu lly installed. Windows XP Windows Vista 12. Device installation is now com plete.
11 Making a Basic Wireless Network Connectio n Step 1: Double click the LevelOne WUA-0605 Wireless LAN Utili ty on your W in dows deskto p. Step 2: Click the "A vailable Network" button to scan for available access points.
12 Step 3: Double click on the SSID of Wireless access point or router that you are going to connect to. In the example, we want to connect to WBR-6 800 .
13 Step 4: Enter the wireless security encry ptio n method and key for the access point you are connecting t o. For maximum security , LevelOne recommends W P A2 -PSK (AES). Note: Use of WEP or WP A (TKIP) will force the wireless connection to connect at lega cy 802.
14 Step 5: Now you are ready to use the wireless network for Intranet and Internet connection..
15 Introduction to the Wireless LAN Utili ty Note: These instructio n s uses W indow s XP as the presumed operation system. Some functions are not supported in Windows 98 SE or W indo ws ME.

22 Push Button Config (PBC) Method If both the W ireless Router / A ccess Point and the W ireless USB Adapter has a physical button or software button for Push Button Config (PBC), please f ollow steps b elow to complete the W PS. Step 1: First press the WPS button on your Wireless Router / Access Point.

24 Step 4: The Utility will now p a ir the Router/AP a n d USB Adapter . W hen p aire d successfully , wireless encryption security will be applied to the connection.
25 WPS P IN Co de Method Y ou will need to set the same PIN code on both the Wireless Router / Access Point and th e USB Adapter . Step 1: Check the PIN code assigned by the W irele ss LAN Utility.

29 Troubleshoo ting Session Overlap If there is more then one AP on the PBC mode, there will be [Session Overlap].Please using PIN method or wait for a while and push the button again.
