Page 17 XC16 SERIES IMPORT ANT The Environmental Protection Agency (EP A) prohibits the intentional venting of HFC refrigerants during maintenance, service, repair and disposal of appliance. Approved methods of recovery , recycling or reclaiming must be followed.

NOTE During the early stages of evacuation, it is desirable to close the manifold gauge valve at least once.

A hissing sound will be heard when the compressor is running unloaded. Protector will reset when low pressure in system is raised above 40 psig.
