PRECAUTIONS Workplace preparation Positioning th e m onitor Choose a suitable place to position the monitor w here it is not near fluorescen t desk ligh ting or any equipm ent that produ ces mag netic fields th at could caus e interf erence. INSTALLATI ON INSTRUCTIONS Swivel Base To attach the swivel base to th e moni tor, do the following: • Carefully turn the m onitor on its side or upside down. (see fig ure 1) • Locate the cavities at the bottom front of the m onitor. • Insert the pegs on the sw ivel base into these cavities.
8 Pow er Source: 1. Make sure th e pow er cord is the correct ty pe that is required in y our area. 2. This monitor has a un iversal power su pply that allow s operation in 100/120V ac or 220/240V ac v oltage (No u ser adjustm ent is required) 3.
9 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS General Instru ctions The power sw itch is located at front panel of the m onitor. Press the po w er sw itch to turn the mon itor on or off . The other control kn obs are located at the base of th e monitor (See Fig ure 3). By chan ging these setting s, the picture can be adjusted to y our person al preferences.
10 Notes • Do not install th e monitor in a location near heat sou rces such as radiators or air ducts , or in a place s ubject to direct sunlig ht , or exces sive dus t or mech anical vibration or shock. • Save the original shipping carton and packing m aterials, as they will com e in handy if you eve r have to shi p your moni tor .
