Explanation of Har d Disk Capacity Dear user , While using your computer , you may discover that th e nominal hard disk capacity indicated is som ewhat different from the disk cap acity displayed by the oper ating system. For example, a nominal 80GB hard disk will appe ar as less than 80 GB in the opera ting system.
If a portion of the hard disk space ha s been used for some specific purpose, then the capacity indicated by the op erating system will be even less than X × 0.

When you insert a battery pa ck, this latch automatica lly secures the battery in place. T o remove th e battery , hold this latch in the unlocked position.

42 Chapter 4. T roubleshooting Sleep or Hibernation Pr oblems The computer enters sl eep mode unexpectedly . If the processor over heats, the computer automatically enters sleep mode to allow the computer to cool and to protect the pro cessor and other internal components.

If the sleep indi cator is off, your computer is in hibernation m ode or power -off state. Connect the AC adapter to the computer; then pr ess the power button to resume operation.
