P ower management Note: P ower management modes ar e not supported for APM oper ating system. T o reduce power consumption, the computer has thr ee power management modes: screen blank, sleep, and hibernation. Screen blank mode If the time set on the “T urn off monit or ” timer in the operating system e xpires, the L CD backlight turns off.
• If a “hibernation time” has been set on the timer , and if the user does not do any oper ation with the keyboard, the har d disk drive, the parallel connect or , or the diskett e drive within that time. • If the timer conditions ar e satised in suspend mode.

When installing: Befor e you attach the thermal fan assembly to the computer , apply thermal grease, at an amount of 0.2 gr ams, on the part marked a and b as shown in the following illustr ation. Either t oo much or too less application of gr ease can cause a thermal problem due to imperfect contact with a component.
