Disconnect the AC power adapter and all cables from the computer .
Appendix A. Replacing components 33 6 Align the notch on the contact edge of the new memory module with the protr usion of the socket and gently insert the memory module into the socket at a 30-45° angle. Then pivo t the memory module down until it snaps into place.
